Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation…my new obsession

I turned 28 and my skin changed. All of a sudden I had weird dry patches, bare minerals foundation wasn’t cutting it to cover the Irish redness in my cheeks.

I tried going to Sephora and for a while was using Dior Air Flash in 402, but every time I wore it my husband and mom both thought I had on TONS of makeup… Three lil bears of foundation. Bare minerals too little, Dior too much…I needed the JUST RIGHT.

One of my favorite makeup bloggers girlgetglamorous did a post about eye makeup I adored, and Dewey skin. I ended up asking her recommendation because we are so similar in skin tone. She led me to Giorgio Armani luminous silk foundation. It’s a light weight to medium coverage that is buildable.

This is my absolute new favorite. I actually applied it with my fingers then used a beauty blender to blend it out. I actually asked my husband on our date night “so, too much makeup?” And he said no it looks way more natural…score!!

Here’s some photos

I think it photographs well and  looks super natural. My skin is really weird and fooled the skin I.d. At Sephora so I’m glad to find something that is a close match!

I’m also obsessed with styling so I had to share my date night outfit. I’ve been coveting burgundy skinny jeans and scored these bad boys from Banana Republic outlet for $19.99!  The black tee is stitch fix from my last review, blazer is one I grabbed from th maxx a long time ago, necklace from Shoes are from target.

Until my next makeup trial or stitch fix box, adventures await!

Your skin looks flawless! I heard so many good reviews about this foundation but I have oily skin and I am scared this foundation will look too shiny/oily at the end of the day.

Thank you! Trust me, it’s definitely not flawless, but this makeup is great. I read a bunch of reviews and people with oily skin said they struggled with this foundation, but I’m sure if you set it with makeup spray or a powder, you’d be fine! Thanks for following!!
