I was in desperate need of sweaters this Stitch Fix round, but I also wanted a glam, adult “going out” top. Amiright ladies? It is SO hard to find a top that you feel sexy in and age appropriate in at 29. Yes, I’m sharing my age, but this is super hard to find. I want a little cleavage but not so much that I feel like I’m in a freakin music video.
I was willing to pay good money for a fancy top and actually upped all my price points….and I’m so torn.
- Plenty By Tracy Reese Detail Blouse-
This top is one of those tops you dream about. It has embellishments around the bust area and gorgeous back detail. It comes with a cami in it, and ties around the littlest part of my waist. It flows out to forgive any belly issues and good god it’s stunning. These photos don’t do the shirt justice but it’s literally the most expensive shirt I’ve ever considered purchasing. That’s why I’m so torn.
VERDICT: Still debating this one.
I love this sweater. It’s the perfect causal sweater that gently hugs the right places. I love it and the second I put it on I knew I was keeping it. It’s also super super soft.
VERDICT: Keeping, obvi.
This was the surprise of the century. NO ONE would describe me as boho, no one. But this bad boy is awesome. It’s super boho and I adore it. It looks so cute buttoned up or unbuttoned. I can’t wait to pair it with leggings too.
VERDICT: Keeping from the second I put it on.
Still undecided on this one. I like it, but I wish it more fitted maybe? I am pretty sure I’m keeping it but still in debate mode between this and the dressy top.
This one was easy, it goes back. I liked the print, I like the fit, but it felt “immature” is the best way to describe it. I’m just not into it.
VERDICT: Sending back
Overall, loved the Fix as per usual, I just have some decisions to make. Am I ready to spend a lot on an almost perfect dress top?
The internal debate begins. Feel free to share your opinions too!
