Stitch Fix #29: Shorts, Shirt & A Necklace

I am scheduled to get a Fix every 3 weeks, it’s a reward to myself for busting my butt at my jobs and puts a smile on my face. The way I look at it, I live in the boonies and $20 for clothes delivered to my door is cheaper than driving to all the different stores.

That being said, I didn’t NEED anything this time around. I could USE shorts, I could USE a great summer shirt but there wasn’t anything dire (now that I decided to keep that gorgeous maxi from the last Fix.)

I requested fun pieces for summer and this is what I got:

  1. ONEMARKET: Lucienne Knit Maxi Dress-
This was okay. After the stunning maxi in my last Fix, I didn’t need another, although I do have some wedding showers coming up. This one is cute, but it didn’t wow me. It made me look bigger from the side than I’d prefect.
    VERDICT: Cute, but goes back.

  2. Loveappella Lucilla Knit Dress– Another option for the wedding shower. I loved the cut, I loved the fit, but something about the color on me I wasn’t in love with. Again, I was being super picky about dresses for this round, because I don’t NEED anything.
VERDICT: Going back. Might regret this later.

    3. & 4. Liverpool Taylor Denim Short & Market & Spruce Brackley Henley Top-
I combined these two since I wore them together already a bunch this weekend. The Market and Spruce top is the patterned one. These white shorts fit great, they were long enough that I didn’t feel uncomfortable, and this tank…it’s knit and cut in all the right spots. Super flattering from the front, what I refer to as a “Grownup Tank.” You can throw this outfit on and go anywhere.
    VERDICT: kept top and shorts!

    5. Layering Necklace: OOPS No photo. I kept this though. Great silver layering necklace, I had a gold one and really needed a great silver one too!

Overall, as per usual, I’m super pleased with everything. I liked it all I just was super picky since I don’t need anything. The only downside with the shorts are they stretch out quickly. I almost wish I had sized down, and had TIGHT shorts that loosened with wear to a well fitted short.

My next post will be our finished KITCHEN! We stained the cabinets with java gel stain, I just need to finish up the decor and then I’ll post photos and the process. The transformation is insane!

Here’s to more adventures!
