This Fix was all about staples for me. I needed new sweaters, still on the hunt for a perfect sweater dress to pair with my boots I adore, (see my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale post), and trying new colors. Pushing yourself with fashion is always good.
Drumroll, Here’s what I got!
- Skies are Blue Raja Blazer
I love a blazer with a boyfriend style jean and heels. I happened to be rocking my “Everyday I’m Hufflin'” shirt so I went for the geek chic look. I LIKE this blazer, the material is not my favorite, but I own nothing in this color.
VERDICT: Debating how much use I’ll actually get out of this…most likely going back
2. RD Style Kalah Sweater Dress-
I like this dress, I still don’t love it. It’s white, which is a struggle for me because I will instantly spill or stain it. I loved the material, I love the turtleneck, but it’s still not perfect. My new unicorn; perfect sweater dress.
VERDICT: Goes back.
3. 41Hawthorn Brienne Turthle Neck Top–
Here’s the deal, the actual shirt from Stitch Fix is the black one under this awesome faux fur vest I own. I love this because it’s a basic that easily layers. I need 1 million black, long sleeve shirts, and this one has the additional bonus of a mock turtle neck. I’m in!
VERDICT: Keeping, I love a good basic.
4. 41Hawthorn Agnew Button Blouse
If you can’t tell from the photo, I wanted out of this top ASAP. It did nothing for me, but I’m happy to try a different silhouette. Not a fan.
VERDICT: It goes back immediately.
5. Market & Spruce Sharon Thumb Hole Pullover-
I’m obsessed. THUMB HOLES. IN.MY.SWEATER! I think everything should have thumb holes, clearly. This sweater felt amazing on, I am 100% obsessed with it, and the thumb holes just made this an immediate yes for me.
VERDICT: DUH, this stays forever. Keeping.
The only thing I’m torn on is the mustard blazer, unclear if I’ll pull the trigger since it’s a bold color and I might not get much use out of it. Keeping the sweater and the great basic turtle neck knit piece.
